3 Ways to Use Bamboo Body Brush (w/ Massage Nubs)

Bamboo Dry Brush with Massage Nubs and Handle

This double-sided bamboo body brush does double duty (and more!). In fact, I think that this dry brush is bargain-priced because you can use it in so many different ways.

How to Use the Bamboo Body Brush

1. The Dry Brush Side:

First of all, you get a dry brush side made of natural boar hair. You can use the dry brush side to exfoliate the skin and boost blood flow.

The boar hair bristles have a firm yet medium-soft feel. I would not say they are coarse, however, that’s just my opinion.

Did You Know? Boar hair is commonly used in hair brushes because it massages the scalp, increases blood flow, unclogs hair follicles.

2. The Wooden Massager Side:

Secondly, the opposite side features short wooden nodules in a cushioned base. People typically buy this style of massager for minimizing the appearance of cellulite in their legs or arms.

The theory is that the gentle massaging motion can stimulate lymphatic drainage and therefore reduce the appearance of cellulite. People’s thoughts vary on this theory. either they agree, they disagree or they feel that it works temporarily as long as you continue to do it.

3. Use Wet or Dry:

Dry Brush with 16" Handle Can Be Used in Shower as a Back ScrubberIn addition, you can use this as both a dry brush and a wet brush. Yes, you can take it in the shower and use it with soap.

Many people prefer having this versatility because they want to exfoliate dead skin while in the shower. Furthermore, the long 16″ handle makes this brush ideal for scrubbing dead skin off your back and clearing pores which otherwise might get clogged and result in acne.

Other Notes:

The brush handle is made from natural bamboo and it includes a rope tie at the end for easy hanging in the shower, on a wall or behind a door. Want more information? Check out this page: What is Dry Body Brushing?.
